WHAT IS EJARI ?

In Arabic, EJARI means “My Rent.” In technical terms, however, it refers to a ground-breaking COMPUTERIZED system that registers all types of tenancy contracts including residential and commercial.

 EJARI, aims to facilitate and regulate Dubai’s rental market. This new system will put Law No. 26 of 2007’s regulations governing the interaction between landlords and tenants in Dubai into effect. As a result, all people and businesses operating as landlords will have to register rental agreements through EJARI for residential and commercial both.

To obtain a new trade license , to renew the old one , or to show a proof of tenancy either residential or commercial ,  EJARI is now mandatory for all.
